The Bride and Groom

How We Met

Edwina grew up in Hong Kong, while Jonathan grew up in Hearst, a small village in Canada. Our very different worlds collided in Vancouver, where we both studied at UBC. We stuck together through all kinds of life transitions, and eventually became adults together.

Now, a decade later, we're finally tying the knot. We're excited to share this moment with our closest friends and family. See you soon!

Over The Years

Wedding

Important Note: Bali is notorious for traffic jams and it can take almost an hour to get anywhere, even if it seems close on the map. Please plan accordingly so you don't miss any of the festivities!

Welcome Drinks

We're excited to catch up with everyone, and enjoy a few cheeky drinks before the big day. Standing canapes will be served, and we've also pre-ordered a limited amount of beer and wine — early birds get a free round!

Gifts

We're asking you to fly halfway across the world to see us. We don't expect any gifts, just the pleasure of your company. If you still feel that you'd want to bring a gift, we kindly ask for cash; we don't want to have to carry an engraved toaster through immigration. 🙂

Accommodations

Here are some recommended accommodations for your stay in Bali. If you're traveling in a group, villas might be worth looking into!

About Bali

Bali is an island and province of Indonesia. The province includes the island of Bali and a few smaller neighbouring islands. (Wikipedia)

The mere mention of Bali evokes thoughts of a paradise. It's more than a place; it's a mood, an aspiration, a tropical state of mind. (Lonely Planet)
